Technology training and E-Learning 2.0 Associations

Technology Training is very interesting and also full of important information that help us learn more about technology. For example, how employees that are not being trained creates a great loss in productivity because of a lack of knowledge about the technology that they are using. The part that best interests me is the one about the four major ingredients which are the information of the training,performance outcomes,instructional methods and instructional media. These major ingredients are specifically defined and it really allows me understand and realize the importance of technology and training as well. To me, learning is the most important part of the training because when the time comes for the trainee to what they have learned from the training to the job given, it will show the outcome of the training.

E-Learning is mainly about learning skills and how the learner is being fed with the knowledge from the educator such as the Teacher-Student relationship whereas the student is the learner and the teacher is the provider of knowledge. In the notes they stated that learning has been based on the teacher-student model which i believe is still happening today. This model is starting to vanish and the technology is starting to take over the teacher's role as the educator.
