Video conferencing
What is synchronous online learning?
This type of leaning is when the instructor has to help learners overcome potential barriers caused by technology, time and the way interactions with learners and the instructor occur.
What is dimdim?
Dimdim is a free web conferencing service where you can share your desktop, show slides, collaborate, chat, and talk and broadcast via webcam with absolutely no download required for attendees.
Who uses dimdim?
Online learning, training, educational and non-profit organizations who want to save on travel expenses or have remote students positively love Dimdim. Many of these customers, like Ohio State University, start with Dimdim Free and quickly graduate to Dimdim Enterprise onsite. And since Dimdim is already integrated with popular learning management systems (LMS) like Moodle and Claroline, you don’t need to be the class valedictorian to instantly start web meetings.

Technology training and E-Learning 2.0 Associations
Technology Training is very interesting and also full of important information that help us learn more about technology. For example, how employees that are not being trained creates a great loss in productivity because of a lack of knowledge about the technology that they are using. The part that best interests me is the one about the four major ingredients which are the information of the training,performance outcomes,instructional methods and instructional media. These major ingredients are specifically defined and it really allows me understand and realize the importance of technology and training as well. To me, learning is the most important part of the training because when the time comes for the trainee to what they have learned from the training to the job given, it will show the outcome of the training.
E-Learning is mainly about learning skills and how the learner is being fed with the knowledge from the educator such as the Teacher-Student relationship whereas the student is the learner and the teacher is the provider of knowledge. In the notes they stated that learning has been based on the teacher-student model which i believe is still happening today. This model is starting to vanish and the technology is starting to take over the teacher's role as the educator.

Introduction
Talofa, i'm Pepe Maiava and i'm from Samoa. I'm a Sophmore and majoring in English Ed.My career goal is to be an english teacher. I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters and i'm the third in my family. i have been an intern at The Church College of Samoa for a few months and i enjoyed it. I love to play basketball and volleyball and i also like to make friends with people.
I want to learn from this class alot of things that i don't know about design and anything that is important.
